    Hello,

I was using WordPress a lot before, but when the times came, and I had to build some sites for about 20 - 40 pages, I start using only static html over WordPress.

What do you think the features of WordPress that are better than static html site (read below P.S)?

P.S: WordPress is already better in nearly every terms such as Dynamic, easy to scale have many themes and plugins etc. I mean for the sake of 20-40 pages site, in term of SEO, what else that WordPress is better? I might lose something that's why I need to ask if I should go back with WordPress route or not within my case.

I'd think the only thing you'd lose over any blog/CMS platform is the easy updates. If your site is meant to be static/timeless I don't think there's anything you couldn't do with just an HTML/CSS based site that you can in WP.

It's less of a pain in the ass to update pages and stuff in WP than editing a page's html.

I'll probably be doing some static sites soon myself out of lack of space and databases. Plus, I can design a whole static site in about 1/3rd the time of a WP based site...

I still highly recommend you to stick with Wordpress.

For static sites you need to have some knowledge of html but for wordpress you dont need that. You can make a lot of customization with out the knowledge of html etc.
