Anyone here living (or lived) in the Philippines long term?

I'm considering living in PH for a few months.
Anyone here has done that/doing that?
What is it like? Any tips/insights to share?

It is nice until you keep your business to yourself. Girls are great

been living here in PH forever

I lived there a few months, people are very friendly and nice, I mean for real, they don't play "the nice" to sell you something.

Also, everything will seem to go slower than a western country, they are more relaxed and happy.

That said if for example, you have one hour to eat at the restaurant forget about it especially on the small islands.
