Just as the title says, anyone here buy tickets and try to resell them for a profit? I've been reading as much as I can about the subject and it sounds like an easy way to make a few bucks if you know what your doing.

On Friday I bought tickets to 2 different concerts. I found a presale password and got some good seats right up from. I listed them on Stubhub but so far no sales. Does anyone else do this? I'd love to find someone to skype with about it.

I live in LA and have generally sold tickets for concerts that I can't go to for about double on CL. I always wondered why I haven't done this for every concert with presale passwords.

I used to scalp tickets heavily with a friend - mainly his know-how and money though.
We found eBay pretty easy to start. There were some concerts we got stuck with tickets to but mostly we moved them. Some sporting events were huge.
We had mixed results from other clients - some were happy to find tickets at any price, others thought the reason they couldn't get tickets to sold out events was because the scalpers had bought them all. Some places like England seem to be used to it - lots in Australia think it's illegal from watching too many TV shows based in New York.

If you want to grow it go and speak to some concierges at hotels - we had a casino that would pre-book tickets to the tennis a year in advance.
