    Hey guys,

Recently i am working on a new authority project and found a nice .co.uk domain.

The issue is that i want to rank for google.com instead of .co.uk.

Does having US IP hosting as well as US backlinks help?

    Any idea?

    Hi Peter

It?s possible, but not always easy, to rank a local TLD for .com, thus it might help, but the question is, how much will it help?

For ranking purpose, I think it will be much easier, and faster, if you get yourself a .com domain with decent backlinks

US IP hosting won't make big difference to rankings, backlinks should be from usual TLD's (.com, .net, .org, .edu...) to rank in google.com.
