    Hello guys,

my partner launched a company in Korea and as you might know they have their own search engine which is called http://www.naver.com/

Just wanted to ask if anyone here is able to do that since there is some whitehat agency trying to charge him $6k per month lol

    Thanks guys!

I'm not an SEO expert but I hope it helps a little bit.
    Naver's search results are divided by blocks: Ads/Wiki/Blog Posts/Posts on Forums/Question & Answer/News/Web Pages
In most cases Naver gives a lot of importance to posts on forums, blogs & question/answer (Similar to Yahoo Answer) that use Naver's platform. Web pages usually aren't on top of the search result.
I guess that one way to get on top of the search results is to outreach bloggers & people with aged accounts on different forums. But nothing beats paying money to Naver through ads.

This is great information. It seems like you're saying to just cut through trying to do SEO on Naver, and focus more on the paid advertising side of things - I assume because the ads remain relatively inexpensive while Naver continues to establish itself?
