This is something I am researching on to see why some pages get stuck while some move along with least amount of help.

I am taking top 5 results, and copying the keyword density as close as possible. Just wondering if it works? Or am I wasting my time? Thoughts?

Doesn't really make much of a different imo. Keep it near 0.5-1%.

But do check out your competition and scrape their LSI words/phrases and add them into your article.

You are most definitely NOT wasting your time.

Since they are occupying top 5 spots they are doing what Google wants.

As a matter of fact, keyword density is probably the most miss-understood factor of all on-page factors.

People are throwing around random numbers like 1.5%, 3%, 4.4563145% which are useless like that. It's hit and miss.

Google treats every search query separately.

    Kudos to you.

As for being stuck... it is probably more time/off-page related.

Just what I was thinking man, I researched all the niches where my website is on the 2nd and 3rd page and there is definitely a pattern. I checked all sites till the 4th page and by the end it was like, only if the density was higher or lower it would have been better.

Definitely going to test this out a lot more. Thanks
