Wanted to check and see if anyone else is having trouble with Google Analytics reporting accurate numbers recently (as in the last two days)?

My numbers in GA are way off. I run Statcounter on the same pages as a back up and my numbers haven't dropped off there either. In fact they have increased. I also compared ad impressions in Adsense and my impressions are up, so there clearly is a problem with tracking in Analytics.

Curious to see if anyone else is experiencing the same thing.

I am getting alot of hits on my awstats but on google it is not showing but half. Google Analytics is not showing nothing i think that google is fixin to go through another change the numbers just are not matching up on any of there services. I think all the the private bots are showing up and google just does not know how to handle them in the stats.

I noticed that as well but i definitely have not taken G's numbers as gold for a long time now, there are much better trackers out there.

I have a site that GA shows traffic dropping to near zero but from adsense it is still raking so who knows what the issue is.

At least I am not the only one out there noticing this.

Just to give a comparison, GA has one of my sites at 4 visitors today. Statcounter has it at 41. That is a huge difference.

My statcounter seems to be grabbing the right amount of visitors. Seems that in Google, its reporting like 1/4 of the visitors..

I always knew that the GA stats weren't always true but I didn't know by how much! Better go check aw stats then!

It seems to be acting ok on the weekends or just a big flux in traffic.

to everybody having issues.. have you tired to weed out a common denominator..

like cloaked links or a certain referrer not passing credit for the visit

On the plus side your conversion rate must be increasing!
