I know they got hit, like many others, in the blog network crackdown last year. I also know they stopped taking new clients and re-launched a bit later, without giving out reports this time.

So, has anyone used them since then? If so, what are your results?

Public blog nets will not work anymore because google will just keep signing up and deindexing the network. With googles current algo, blog nets are unnecessary anyway.

These types of answers are just gonna piss the OP off. I've heard great stuff about HPS in the past too, and it worked perfectly, albeit being too expensive. Thought they went dark after the deindexing. If they're still alive, I'd love to know about that too.

That wasn't what I asked, but thank you for your useless reply and the bump.

Did you test their blog posts, or just the blogroll links?

Of course we still work. The penguin update didn't penalize anything, it simply looks at your websites entire profile as a whole. One of the major issues were that people where hyper focusing link building on a small number keywords, basically, the only ones they wanted to rank for. In comparison to a real website that gains popularity naturally, they would have long tail keywords.

They would have backlinks for 4 things, and then ZERO for nothing else. So this new algorithm looks for these "profiles with exclusive back linking on hyper-focused keywords and it doesn't PENALIZE them (<----very important distinction) it just filters it and sorts it according to their new parameters. What good about this, is you can link build for those long tail keywords, back link for 50+ and as your "profile" starts to fit the algorithms definition of a natural profile...all the other old ranking strategies work just as well as it always did. This has been confirmed over and over.

You might want to believe it HkSeo Rotzee -- but the few sites I used with you - basically disappeared and never seen since -- > was a total waste of time/money ---> lesson learned and way smarter now.

It's like anyone selling anything -- you always have to say there's nothing wrong or its this or that -- > if things go South .... but the reality is you guys weren't careful and weren't smart enough to operate it and in the end .... the clients got creamed : I'm actually surprised your even still around selling anything.

Since I started picking up aged expired domains and building my OWN under the radar blog network, I have found out that it is way cheaper and more effective than paying to someone else without any guarantees that they wont get hit or go under along with your precious links.

Hit me a PM if you want to know more.

Long time no see... since the.... you know.. those times...

    Tmanager here :D

HEHEHEHEHE.. this world is FRAKING tiny. Man, good to know youre alive and kickin'

    Andy

    P.S.

    My opinion still stands.

having own network beats paying to anyone else. cost/expenses/time are way way better. I have used HighPr Society... then they got hit, so were my sites and, shitty thing is, some of them were hit so hard I'm still unable to shake off the G-Zoo, easier to start over and just drop those domains than trying to get those links down/do damage control. That's lesson uno for me - have control over your links. If must, build own - how hard can it be? All you need are domains, hosting and script to manage content delivery. And scripts - that's what I'm REALLY good at.

Blog network still works. But if you focus only on getting links from blog networks, then that would be a problem..

With the new updates, its best to have your own private network also.. i add 5 blogs per week on my networks and none of them were hit. I also build backlinks on them..

You should always diversify your link profiles always and build links on a constant rate.

I dont know why people are bashing HPS, all network works, why did some clients on ALN didnt get hit while others got hit like crazy, as the owner of HPS said, its not the network at fault, its your link profile, if you get hit for ever reason, have yourself to be blame not the network.

If your link profile appear natural you have nothing to worry about. I have competitor buying paid link and ranking for competitive keyword, whilst ignoring his link profile.

Guess what two days ago, he got put to page 5.

    Peace out

Yeah with our own networks :D I'd rather post DF omment spam to my money sites (and i actually do that) than post on a public (advertised as private) network. G is fking hunting them. The more advertised they are the higher the chances they get hit.

Networks are awesome as you already know, but you have to keep them private for real not just call them private and have hundreds of people post to them.

    http://highprsociety.co/home/faq/

Do you allow duplicate content, spun content, or garbage text?

There is no editorial approval or several day waiting periods for your articles.
You alone are responsible for your content, so if you want to use garbage copy you can. In fact, for all of the case studies we showed on the home page, we had poor quality content. We suggest you run your articles through a spinner to assure uniqueness of the article. This helps future proof your link value with upcoming Google algorithm changes.
We do require that all articles and comments have a minimum level of spinning that can be easily done by hand or with a tool such as The Best Spinner.

    i Thinck this is stupid
