Do you think their followers are fake? But why would they want to buy fake followers anyway? Doesn't make sense for an ecommerce brand. I've seen there stuff being shoutouted by humor accounts all the time but I still don't believe that equates to 10K + daily follows. They also post a lot which makes you think why they dont get unfollowed? Their engagement is quite bad too.

    Any ideas?

Doesn't look fake to me. Once you get into the millions of followers you can grow 10K followers organically without doing anything.

I see a lot of 2M+ accounts doing shoutouts for them.

They post around 25-30 times a day. That would be why the engagement is a bit low.

They seem to buy shoutouts from everybody all the time. Their engagement is "low" because they post frequently but a low engagement means nothing to them because they sell products. They're likely selling $1 million or more worth of products a month.

They're being Shouted by top Humor accounts. Top Humor accounts get 50k likes on photos within minutes. Imagine doing this for two months or so. BAM! You're on the top.

But you'd think with 20+ posts per day you'd get unfollowed. Doesn't matter what the niche is.

Yeah I personally unfollowed an account for more than 8 postings in a day. My preference is the "4-Hour" Rule per post.

Some of the followers are real what I have seen.May be they order only few followers and rest they get genuinely.

Not salty at all but just wondering how these accounts get away with it.

    There's an account called https://www.instagram.com/helenchikx/ @helenchikx

She's been in local papers and is talked about at events for having such a great page...

I don't understand how brands fall for it, 60K+ followers but only 1000+ likes and if you click on likes and scroll, you'll see most of those profiles that like her pictures have uploaded their last picture 17weeks ago with no new activity.

Is she just a good business woman and knows how to sell what she does or are brands / people really that dumb?

I just checked that account and it gets 3k+ likes per post which is the typical 5% engagement rate. Everything can be faked in this game but the sums add up on this one.

Did you study more than one picture?

when you got in that kind of point you will be at most at 20-25% unfollowing rate. So if they are in the 10k daily they are in the +12k and -2k or so.

Yup, they are spamming a little bit but as far as there are new followers...

They are probably buying shoutouts or have a bunch of fake follower, or there brand is going viral.
They could have an offline business that promotes there IG accounts through ads or other means.

I've seen the account being shoutouted on many humor account for 1-2 hours per post. They literally buy 1-2 hour spots each day on 2M+ humor accounts. Just find it weird that how they can still gain 10K+ when they're buying shoutouts from the same humor accounts for a while.

Looks like fake followers to me. Also their engagement seems to be a bit low in relation to the amount of the likes...

I think its' because they have a couple of KIK SFS groups they engage in. I am pretty sure they buy likes as well for each post. Its only a matter of time until the account gets shut down. Instagram will shut it down once they notice a big drop in Followers.
