From what I can tell, they are removing a lot of fan pages that are not created by the actual owner of whatever the page was created for. They've introduced Community Pages, which is a clusterf in my opinion. You have admin control until it gets too large and then they take it away from you and turn it into a community wikipedia type site. I'm just now reading about them, so I don't understand it all, yet. But, I'm sure that's what's going on. There will still be "official" fan pages. But, if you want to create a "non-official" fan page, you must do a Community Page instead and give it up to FB if you're successful in growing it. I may be wrong. Still reading.

If that's true, I'm going to be pissed at FB.
But I guess we could do the same things with 10X the pages with 10X less fans...
That's what I'm thinking (create more pages since there's less policing). I think they work just like Fan Pages, but the whole mass viral thing may be out the window, depending on what actually happens after you get 10K fans (or whatever the limit is) and they turn it over to the community. If they leave the same tabs, etc. without modification (and only let people post on the wall), then we may still have a chance. Still reading....

i wanted it to happen though.. so i could get a fresh start as it just went to shit anyway.

thanks i have spoken with him and am waiting for him to make more. i will need more, after i buy them from him too..
so if anyone reading this wants to sell some accounts.. i will buy a lot if you have 'em and wanna sell 'em!
I haven't seen anything published, yet, but rumor is 10K. Take it with a grain of salt. I don't know when we'll know for sure.
