I have a website built with Genesis Wordpress and is using one of the child themes from StudioPress. I'm still getting the hang out of Genesis. I can see that doing SEO is made easier.

Aside from what is built in with Genesis regarding SEO, do I need to install other plugins? I mean, I don't really know what I missing. If anyone from you has experience using Genesis, or has tutorials, can you please share it?

    Thanks!

I used Genesis a while back (switched to Builder), so might be out of date. However, when it comes to WordPress SEO optimization in general you want the ability to easily add unique titles and description meta tags to each page/post - this is the most basic SEO. I would suggest you install the Yoast SEO plugin to see all of the features it contains and compare with Genesis.

I use Genesis. +1 on Lazlo's suggestion of the Yoast SEO plugin.
