Hi, I have a few pages with adsense and i promote them on facebook, so i have a little traffic coming from there. I was reading adsense blogs the yesterday and i seen someone got his account terminated for breach of TOS, then someone replied quoting the TOS, where it mentioned social networking traffic. Then they went on to explain adsense doesn't like fb traffic cus theres a likelyhood it was your friends clicking your links etc. sounds like bs to me, but i cant afford to lose my adsense account, i just started and would hate to have lost such a valuable resource. Has anyone had any problems, particulary with fb? Cheers.

I read that too, and was wondering the same thing. If we were both reading the same post, the fan page was HUGE.

I was thinking he probably told people to click on his ads. Maybe in one day his CTR went through the roof, then Google did a quick look-see and saw that he posted something dumb like "support this site by clicking my ads" and then got banned.

If anyone has had a similar experience with traffic from a fan page banning your adsense account I would be curious as well.

hey, no i read about it from my adsense account>blogs. not on fb. i know there was suspision about click rings etc, that were arranged on fb amongst other sites, im just wondering if its a grey area with google, and if anyones account was terminated for simply bringing traffic from fb/twitter etc.

I can't see how they expect people to control where their traffic comes from. Also almost all stores like home depot have adsense and have FB accounts.
