I have a few completely white hat sites with Site 5. I have one on personal growth all written by myself, not a private label paragraph in sight, which took years to build.

Now they have disabled this site which was on the front page of google about no 5. If you try to get to it, it says forbidden.

It has been down for about 50 hours and about 40 since I found out and asked them why.

I waited 24 hours for a reply and then they told me they sent me an email about a violation and have disabled my site because I did not reply and I should check the ticket.

I can find no emails from them not even in my bin or spam on this nor any ticket. I have told them this and asked them what the problem is but another 7 hours and still no reply.

So here I am 50 or so hours on having in effect not even been told what is wrong.

I have no back up so it looks like they have just disabled or possibly destroyed years of work.

I am well cross. Anyone else had problems with these people. Do they have the right to do this? I do not even know what the problem they are complaining about is!! :(

Yes, I had problems with Site5. I had two accounts with them and canceled both about one year ago. Was very unsatisfied with customer service.

And at that time I was also an affiliate ( bringing them about 10-20 accounts/months and I ended that at the same time, even if it obviously costed me...).

They are out of my life now...

Thanks for letting me know your experience voxclan.

Well it still isn't sorted and my site has now been offline for 72 hours!! and yes the problem is customer support.

I have now found out that the problem seems to be that I have too many emails but as they well not let me in I cannot delete them!!

They have given me copies of emails they said they sent but were not received. Of that I am certain. My guess is that somehow they sent them to my previous IP email address which I have no access to.

They MUST be aware of the harm they do to people cutting off their site so to not use pronto customer support to help get it back on is unforgivable.

Thankfully although I hadn't made a back up on this new computer I have found a disk with one on so I have now ordered new hosting and will soon have them out of my life too!

Just to make this clear. I changed my email addy with them in March and am receiving emails to my new email address from them now, but the only way I can think of why I did not receive these emails is that they sent them somehow to my old address - unless anyone has any other ideas.
