Anyone had a ''plusnetwork'' nonsense installed on there PC?

It canged my browser when I updated messenger plus, now it is displaying ads in the middle of facebook pages and my google chrome is going at a snails pace

I have tried

Uninstalling messenger plus
AVG
Spybot
Housetrend scan online

none fixed the problem,

Any ideas???

Thanks for the reply, my copy of windows xp isnt legit so i taked I cant use there spyware tool?
