as you know, the indian government has turned shit & too much limits on paypal like money can't be used from balance & only from bank.

in such cases, every cent being spent is taken into account + there fee imposed by paypal & currency conversion fee from bank to paypal almost reduces our profit by 7%.

what alternatives are you doing to save money? can i open a us paypal account using vpn & how do i verify it. have anyone tried it? any good strategies?

    thanks:)

I'd recommend you to buy a USA RDP instead of VPN or socks.
My experience, I had a USA paypal which I use to access with VPN but most of the times paypal use to ask me my credit card or bank account no. to verify, because the ip use to change everytime I connect/disconnect, but that was okay since I was the owner so I had all the info. But once, they limited my account due to suspicious login activity just because of logins from diff. IPs (though I always used same state, city IP), and asked me for docs to verify identity, cc statement and other shit. And that was the END of that account, the account was on a fake name, address, shit.

Why dont you use Wire Transfers from banks .. I've been using wires for receiving all my payments.. never used paypal.. they always provided crappiest conversion rates .

I've been using an US verified Paypal from atleast 6 months...I access it almost every other day to receive money from my clients and buy things..never been limited!

Actually i asked one of my friends who lives in US to create a paypal account with this bank account and verify it...that's it since then i've been using from india without any problems!

If at all that gets limited..i'll just ask my friend to speak to their customer service..that way you can resolve limitations pretty faster....

But the only problem is to transfer that money to my indian bank account...for which i transfer that money to my friend's US Bank account from which he sends to my local indian bank acct...little longer process..

I have a business partner from India who uses US PayPal with no problems :)

He set up Google Voice forwarded from his Skype and has a VPN in San Francisco. Set up a San Francisco bullshit address and he's been doing this for sometime with great success.

He said same shit about India raping people on moneys.

well, that's easy to do, if you dont want to run into problems, use a U.S rdp, or u.k and try to use a greendot card, payoneer card or paxum card

    Hey,

As you mentioned, the Indian government currently prohibits all non-Indian companies from issuing Visa/MasterCard cards to Indian residents. Due to this restriction, the Payoneer card is not available to Indian residents.

However, if you're a member of a partner/affiliate program that pays via Payoneer, we do offer a local bank transfer service to Indian residents. Payments are sent from a local bank account in India, in INR (so you aren't charged international transfer fees).

If you have any questions regarding this service, please feel free.

I'm not quite sure what you mean, but PayPal would have no reason to block an account due to activity with Payoneer.

I know PayPal does have many strict rules and regulations, so I'd suggest having your client contact them directly for further details as to why they blocked his account.

So are there any updates on this? It has been almost a year since the changes occured...so now has anyone found a way to use a paypal account for a different country? I need it primarily to be able to make payments from my paypal balance, and then finally transfer the profits to my indian paypal and withdraw from there.
If not US, which other countries work fine with paypal?
