Guys - just bought a domain for PBN.

Would you expect by now (3 weeks) that a link (it's the only one) in a relevant article would be showing up in either WMT, majestic or ahrefs? It does show in opensiteexplorer (only if I add www. to domain) and traffictravis. I have seen zero improvement for the site I linked to and think for some reason it's not being counted in the search engines, which sucks as it's a really solid domain and wasn't cheap. It also says [No Data] in OSE where it shows link.

Should I ditch it? The domain is indexed, as are the articles on it.

One link from one domain is rather meaningless.
Don't stress about whether it shows or not (as long as the PBN site is indexed, you're all good) - just buy more domains, and build more links.

Yeah one link isn't going to do shit. WMT is slow to index new links too. If the domain is indexed in Google that's what matters.

You need more backlinks to see the impact of PBN links. A single link from a PBN won't do much but when done in volume and built regularly over time, you will see some nice ranking improvements.

You can't get to see more improvement with only one back link.. More you build Quality links - > More position your site will get improved!

It's a long-term proposition. Think of it like building a business, not a get-rich-quick scheme, and you'll do much better at it.

You cant be so particular with one link. Build a network of at least 5 sites , post unique content on them and link back to your money site.

A single backlinks will not improve your ranking. Try to get more backlinks (according to your keyword competition) in a monthly basics surely you get the improvement. But the only think is to provide unique content and place the link naturally. Hope it will helps.
    Cheers!
