Anyone ever tried piggy backing on elance?

I don't know a lot about web design..... but i sure could sound like i do. What i'm trying to say is I could find an indian that charges $10 an hr on a freelance site. I could charge $50 an hour since i'm in the united states the rest is just profit and I do no work except send the guy in india emails. Has anyone tried this before??? let me know your thoughts

There are whole firms that this is all they do. Actually you can find work much cheaper and charge much less to compete with other firms. I have full time employees that work for me and do everything I ask for around $2 per hour.
