What title says, I know a way to get plenty of links to my sites, already got 2 pointed on my site the downside is that you have to use duplicate content which may actually negatively affect your website considering how wikipedia is nofollow

I got a site that manage to get a wikipedia link at the very beginning, but I don't see any significant impact on serp actually. However, It is good to diversify your link profile if you can get one.

No, I have had an account for years and added one a few months back. No difference at all.

Since it is nofollow the link itself won't pass any linkjuice, thats why there shouldn't be any movements in the serps. But what will you get is authority. So, if you have website with a lot authority your content/website is easier to rank. I made some positive experiences with that.

However, it is good to have/get nofollow links from Wikipedia for the authority. Also I guess google wouldn't penalize you that fast if they see you got some decent authority links pointing to ur website.

It's not their purpose so you won't see any.

Possible uses of Wikipedia links are increased trust, authority, breaking the sandbox, getting unstuck.

Once you cross a certain trust/authority threshold Google will start to treat your website differently. Wikipedia links can greatly help with this.

For example: you didn't see any improvement for your target page but try creating a brand new page on the site targeting brand new keyword. It should rank quicker and higher initially without any direct links.

A page is going to give your site more authority than a link or links so if it is possible try and get a page up. There is a JrExec VIP that can do that for you should that be something you want but if you can get a link or links that is certainly beneficial.

A Wikipedia link/page is not something that will rocket your site in the SERPs as it is not link juice that is passed but authority juice.

It really is a different dog and worth having as part of your off site SEO infrastructure over a long haul.

If you are building a churn and burn it makes no sense but if this is an asset that you are looking to keep for the long haul you absolutely want one linking in.

Alright, will try to get another link up in the next 2 weeks since I can't do this too quick or it'll look suspicious, however I definitely want this to be a long term project, if I could ever reach 30$ / day I'll be more than happy however for that I'd need like 1500$ in sales per day and I don't think that's easily achievable with Amazon, about to break top 10 for 3 keywords with 500-1600 MS hopefully I'll go over the 50 unique per day mark soon

I have some sites with 30+ Wikipedia links inbound. They take their sweet time affecting the rankings but there is real value there.

Same with some of the other higher DA sites that are no follow... it is slow and steady but long term rankings.

That being said, I have legitimate respect for asap1 as he does very well with his sites so it is clear there is more than one way to skin a cat in SEO.

Links from top quality sites such as wikipedia can be counted upon for long term rankings.
