Am I asking in the wrong place?

But I am so tired now of the blatant lying I see alsmost everywhere on the Net these days.

Forums, F.B, linked in, sites....I'd say about 95%+ are lying.

If you try to run alegit online bizz you tend to get lumped with this lot, which is b**** annoying.

Maybe that's why businesses do not bother replying to email any longer?
Big business has to be based on trust.....but all i seem to come across these days are dreamers, liars and cheats. It really is the Wld wild West out there.

you only have to look at the posts in here about people being ripped off. Or how many have been banend in the J.V. section to see how rampant it is.

I presume most here actually like it that way? Or does anyone share my frustration? It's not for me.

Meet each other IRL, thats the best way forward

Meet each other IRL

IRL = Real world? That's why big biz is all about N.W.'s and face to face meetings. Online......sadly it's a joke. Spoilt.

I am not saying it's just this place....Every market place is overrun with people who think lying is the only way to do biz.

I heared women once say "online dating...everyone lies." So it's obviously an online "thing."

There was a thread about this before. Most of us, make the Internet worse. I want to do 100% good things online, but I need to make my fortune first :) I think a lot of us think this way to rationalize. Maybe it is inherent in the nature of marketing, which usually involves lying and providing services/products that people don't need.

OMG! . . . Lying on the internet? . . . How can this be?
I thought everything posted on the internet was true!

Now I am truly disappointed . . . :(

The sentence shown below is true.
The sentence shown above is false.

Confusing, isn't it? . . . :)

"Wiz"

^^ hmm...^ At least you are being honest there. I suppose it does go massively in most industries as well. Maybe I am just Internet jaded.

But you are lying right?

Now I am truly disappointed . . . :(

so I presume you aren't sick of it then? Good for you. Sometime sI wish my conscince would let me go and rip off some old couple, or Net Newbie but it won't let me. God dammit consience! Why me?

Ahhh, water off a ducks back.

My favorite are the buyers that join every forum / social media network to report they were "ripped off" and after you read through all the drama you discover they were given a full refund or funds were only authorized and never captured. They didn't lose one penny but screaming they were ripped off.

Matter of fact I still have 5 ROR complaints against one of my businesses from such a psycho. We refused to ship his order to an unconfirmed address, refunded his payment the next day and he's got about a dozen posts on all our local business citations and ROR how we ripped him off and we're scammers. He even filed a BBB dispute and AG dispute with same ripped off claim because we tossed his payment back to him in less than 24 hrs.

I had some fun with him when I found his same online identity posting on heroin addiction forums and BSDM porn forums which cooled his jets. That physcho still makes my blood boil when I think of him.

I am talking about that? Yes, there are plenty of "knuckle heads" who shouldn't be trying to make money for sure. But thar's a different point entirely.

I am talking about the blatant fraudsters/liars Who seem to think it's part of the way of doing bizz online....go and look in the JV. section for a few. But every forum/ meeting place online is full of them.

I suspect this is why most big biz is clamping down on offers/emails these days. Much more D.D.

we expect the people behind this to be honest people as well?

And people in "real life" don't lie you wanna say? Well, most people lie and they do it each and every day.
I'd go as far as most people lying 50% of the time. ALthough these are always "white lies" (well, not really..) people just lie... it's not in everyone's nature, but many become that way after a few years... tough world out there, lol

Hahahahaha! Wiz, I don't know anything about 'lying on the internet', but I know that you can send someone into the eternally unending loop with those true/false lines! :D

I think you fail to see that lying is all around you and just a natural part of life, people start lying from the moment they can talk, it is also a very helpful skill. What I do not like is bullshiters, liars and bullshitters are two different things. Not to be confused with each other.

Danger!!! Are you implying that 95%+ members here are liars? lol. If not, then how many do you think are? Ok, just mention how many are not liars? Or, how many in your opinion are half/quarter/tenth liars?

Any thing you say can be used against you... hehehe

j/k :D
OP, don't get frightened by the implications that can be derived from half-truths or half-lies, whatever! :)

Uh - how would you know what's in the JV section if you're not even a donor with enough posts to get there? Unless you have another account somewhere? That's real uncool.
