Anyone else notice the increasing appearence of .com.au domains in global results?

    They seem to be getting a lot of air time now, especially in big niches.

    I think their power either;

    1) A result of many sites being devauled, .com.au is not used for spam usually

    2) An increase in power for all english speaking geo-tld domains.

    What do you guys think? Anyone wanna volunteer for a case study?

    Maybe the Aussies have just got sick of Matt Cutts and are on the Black Hat train.

    I haven't seen much of the new domain extensions nor com.au in the SERPs lately.

    My best clients are from AU, they have budget and they do not ask too many questions. The best type of clients. With a huge budget it is easier to rank, that's why they are going closer to page one
