Anyone else notice a drop in links?

Has anyone else noticed a dramatic drop in links both on yahoo.com and backlinkwatch.com?

I had just over 5000 backlinks to www . designsonline .co.uk showing on yahoo and it has dropped to 700
I have almost 3000 to www . freelance-website-designers .co.uk showing on yahoo and this has dropped to 460
It is the same story with other websites of mine too....

Any idea why this is happening?

Yeah, something fishy is going on. Not only are my backlinks disappearing, the # of indexed pages is dropping as well. One of my WH sites had 300 pages indexed in yahoo as of 45days ago -- today it has TWO. All is well with giggles, but yahoo is ???.

Thank god its not just me. I've noticed about a 20% drop in links recently. I cant be sure which ones as I havent been keeping track of everything..
