I have a bunch of domains under godaddy.com too, and I'm thinking in the U.S. down the line regulation and any precedents set by SOPA may have a negative effect on entrepreneurs on the internet. Anyone else doing the boycott?

I am. I'm no longer gonna buy domains from them, even the $1 ones.

I'm also going to call them "Gaydaddy" from now on.

    EDIT: just found this article:

GoDaddy not only helped write SOPA they are also exempt from it

I personally don't see any reason to stop buying from them as long as their prices are cheaper, if you aren't violating copyright with your websites.

Boycotting GoDaddy here. But not because of SOPA and not just recently. Been boycotting them for 10+ years now, just for being shitheads. Worst registrar I've ever used.

I read it in an IT ONLINE NEWSPAPER: godaddy cancelled their SOPA deal.
