i've been getting tons of these comments that are all gibberish

and i get those everyday when ever i have new posts... WTFFFFFFFF

They're fuck**g stupid guys ever.

Do you think that the owner of website will approve the comment?
 
Yeah i've been getting 1,000's of the exact same thing every day, jibberish URL's that aren't even registered.

Don't see what's the point, my guess was they were using invalid URL's to see what gets approved or not then making a short-list of working FFA blogs to target their real domains to.

Or, someone is coding something like Xrumer and they are doing test runs using jibberish domains.

They were my assumptions, anyone know for sure what's going on behind this stuff?
 
Yea get these spam messages every day so annoying. Some people must be letting them through or they wouldnt be doing it.
 
You can report the ip addresses, and hope enough complaints come in from the same IP to get some red flags going on them. I don't mind the occasional person linking back to their site - but these spammers are leaving lists of links all to porn sites with the gibberish. I'm thinking my domain is in someones automated spam commenter or something.

I've been wondering if I change the cms if it will put a wrench in their machine. Like from WP to j00mla or something.

But yes, this way of spamming is dumb but has also success - very limited. I tried that with XRumer and those things only stick on unmoderated forums - this also means that your links are in good neighbourhood with adult links and much more others -worthless.

I get tons of this shit but they are using proxies as all of the ips are different.
 
10 days ago, I had a lot of these comments, but the last days I don't see them anymore.
 
It's bounds testing. I got a ton as well. The sites that let these slip through will be heavily, heavily spammed.
 
at least the newer versions of wordpress break the comments queue up into multiple pages. this type of spam clogged up a few of my adult blogs so badly that the full queue page wouldn't load without freezing my browser, and i wound up having to go in and clean out thousands of spam comments manually. really ghey...
 
These spam messages have been there are a long time. I have couple of forms on my sites and they keep filling them. I get around 20 messages daily. Thank god i have just 1 page with form.

I use them

everyday on one of my WP blogs. But i dont get those comments.

I got 30 or more of that gibberish comments on a blog where I dont use

I think it's a test send out from xrumer/ senuke etc
 
me too. i noticed this started a couple of weeks ago. kinda feel weird at first seeing gibberish and no point. but then again, it might be a test run.
 
yes and that's horrible... I added captchas on the comments for a while. :spank:
 
I have been getting them too. I only have a few blogs, so I rewrite the urls in the comments and change the wording if it is a casion, porn, or other taboo site. If the comment is legit, I approve the thing. I figure even if it is spam, they just added new content to my page.
