Earning with YouTube short is active and require creating and posting of good content that help/promote a need services. There are different niches which can be apply with short video content.
 
Yes, youtube shorts is a part of my social media strategy, but most of the views and earnings come from regular videos.
 
I remember when Shorts initially rolled out, they got pushed hard. Reach would explode from just the slightest upload consistency, that's why so many weird content could be found on it for a time. Earnings are questionable but it is an excellent tool to get reach for your account so there's that to consider.
 
I’ve made some earnings, but it’s mostly from viral content and consistent uploads.
 
I am being told that shorts don't work like they used to buy the earnings are slow so not worth the punt
 
Yeah I have been earning a little from YouTube Shorts lately. It is not a huge amount but the ad revenue and Shorts bonus program are starting to add up and trending content really help.

The earnings from shorts is very less compared to long videos. But there will some people here making good money through sponsorships on YouTube shorts.
 
Long form if you want to earn anything significant. I have a few long form channels and lately made a new channel for shorts but it's 90% automated. No way I'm going to spend time editing a short everyday to make peanuts lol

How do you do automation? Is it your own bot?
 
Shorts can be monetized with AdSense, but the mechanism is a bit different than regular YouTube videos.
