It needs lot of funding. Also, there will be luck element involved as well.
 
If you build on a good domain name there will be buyers for sure! You can ask owners with similar domains and websites if they want yours, just use their contact form or whois email.
 
are you looking to do this long term? why not build something that brings in monthly residuals?
