I've stuck to sportsbetting/poker mainly. Your question's answer depends on your traffic source really. Gaming traffic can be like printing money if done right, or it can be a fucking grind.

It's all about getting the traffic man. I was doing adwords for casino like 5 years ago when they still allowed adwords for casino. And was advertising on domain names as keywords (Instead of the main keywords like online casino). Spent maybe $1k per month on advertising. Was on a revenue share program and ended up making 8-12k per month for over 3 years. Kept making money for 2 YEARS after I stopped aftertising them, so it's really really profitable. But it's also really really hard to get traffic, and it's a bit more difficult now that it's kind of illegal for credit card providers in the USA to transfer money to casinos. So hard for people in the US to get funded which brought down the profits a bit.

competition is cut-throat. however, if you are able to build a base of followers/target traffic/mailing list go for revenue sharing instead of single payouts. big $$ if you survive through the start up.

imo, it's all about what you offer and how different it is from the competition.

im an ex-bettor and this what i look for. traffic isn't what really makes you money IMHO.

    it's all about quality.

It is really hard especially now with the bans on US in many casinos so you are better to concentrate on europe I have been promoting online casinos in Australia using offline techniques with autodialers sending people to a capture page of mine and promoting the incentive offers of free plays and money. The great thing about this type of marketing is you can send them to a capture page and get contact details so you can promote other offers related to gambling to them. The cost of getting the traffic is around $50 for 4k of calls but I have had conversions on initial offer as high as 4% so 160 a day taking the offer then if they win they usually will pay to get their money so some days I have earned around $300-500 I have been getting paid on signups but think this could also work on revenue share as once they are hooked they keep spending. There are many ways you can utilyse autodialing to generate online traffic.

Same here, I used to do pretty well until the gambling ban. I've had a little success recently giving away free ebooks with casino hints, tips and cheats. People are so fascinated with "beating the casino"

First of all, I would like to say hi to all memebers of this great forum. I'm lurking for a few months and I decided to come out of shadow :) when I saw this thread.

I've been using few methods of making money found here, but right now I want to digg into casinos and gambling. My idea is not to promote some casino, I want to create my own. I saw many companies that are selling their software for online use. Is it possible to enter this "world" without paying few 10k $? Is there any free software, or open source that I can use on my website? Is there any company that gives their software to me and lets say split profit with me?

Is it possible to do something like this without $$$$?

    Any ideas?
    thx in advance

I would suggest starting with something you know very well. Unless you know poker very well.
