I was thinking about getting into this industry because I am tired of ranking adsense niche sites tbh. I do SEO for clients already so I want a different form of residual income on the side. I was thinking about slowly buying up pr3+ blogs in specific industries and selling links sidebar, textual, blog posts whatever. Anyone in this industry, is it relatively lucrative or so so?

It's not lucrative unless you have a huge network. People are selling PR3+ links on fiverr and mturk, so that is the price range the link-selling market is going toward. You can try text-link-ads or teliad for higher prices per link but there aren't as many buyers. I tried this for a while and have a good sized network for my own use and I usually got low $xx monthly.

Is it wise to simply buy PR3+ on fiverr in this case?
Seems like a budget solution to get high PR3 links with minimum effort and at great price?
How reliable are those sellers / sites from your experience. THanks

Last time I bought a PR3 link on Fiverr there was around 50+ links going out on it so I doubt there's much value in it :( but what can you expect for $5

I've seen people selling thousands of PR5+ and above links on fiverr. These people literally have thousands of sales. Not sure if you would like getting into something like that. Depending on how many you have to offer. I'm almost sure the links were fake pr however.

Like with all things on fiverr, there are good and bad sellers. I've gotten some nice in context links from PR4 sites and they are permanent, not a monthly rental like the sidebar links. You've got to weed through a lot of crap to find the good ones though.

That's true. I think I'll buy a few and just risk it, have a new site that I need some links to!

Got my own sites. And would not sell unless it is for too high with very low OBL.
Simply as said low cost links mean high obl on page which means low value and a high probability of being reported to google or setting flags.

There's a lot of money in it, but not in pr3-pr5 links. The money is in pr8-pr9 links. I have many available. I'll give you a commission if you want to help sell them for me. If you're interested, PM me and we can work something out. I don't think I can reply to PMs yet, so you may want to include your email address.

PR5 on fiverr? Come on please check those sites before posting nonsense here. I have tried buying some links on fiverr PR3+ there are 0.
I mean they do have the PR but other than that nothing.

Only a complete moron will buy those links and they do...

I actually plan in doing some link brokeraj but build real sites on incredible domanains that I bought - 12-15 years old pr5+.

I already made over the last 3years $x.xxx from renting links.

I never initiated the transaction though people would just find me.

I want to do this with a more proactive approach.

Besides the obvious you need 3 things to get this going:

PR - people are still suckers for this, PR5 preferably
Age - (I have read somewhere that 1 year old its considered aged domain...well to put it simple, NO!)
    backlinks

I'll buy any sites you do not want. I will probably offer more than you would make from selling links on the sites. PM sites and prices. I can pay via PayPal
