Anyone buying leads for affiliate offers?

Hi everyone, I see a few guys around here and DP buying and selling leads for affiliate offers. These are USA based leads and I have no idea how they do it.

I guess if the leads are REAL and done by people in USA, that will be called a greyhat right?

What do you guys think? Where do they get the leads from and is it safe to buy such leads? They normally offer free signups and sometimes credit card signups (paid signups).

Need your opinion in this, if it is safe I would like to buy some leads as well

What are the chances of getting banned?

How on earth are they getting the signups, doing ownself by using vcc or getting real people signing up?

It depends who you work with.Somebody has get paid to sign up sites,and offers their members to extra fast cash to complete this offers
Some of them has "mystery shopping" kind of mailing lists and they just need to send a mail to their members.
Some of them signups by theirself,they say they clear cookies and changes ip etc ..

But if i need to work with one of them above,i would definetly select one of first two.

I would choose the first two as well but how will we know where are they getting the signups from?

I was thinking of getting these people that want to make quick cash by signing up for offers, can I post ads on CL about getting them?
