So I have been considering selling our excess leads that we get. Every day I get hundreds if not thousands of phone numbers from dating ads that we post (they text us) but I dont have time to get to them all using our method so I was thinking about selling them to other black hat marketers but I am curious if any of you have had any legal issues with doing this.

They contact me not me contacting them so I assume that gets past the spam laws. The ads are technically not fake (they are hand posted by a real girl using her real info) and I am not sure if it is legal or not. Dont mind being in the grey area just not happy about three hots and a cot either lol.

To be on the safe side, which you are trying to be, maybe it would be good to ask a lawyer? I don't think it would be overly expensive either, tops one man-hour of lawyering service.

Three hots and a cot - never heard that euphemism for prison before, nice one.
