I don't understand why people go crazy about this 1000+ subs thing.

Even if you'd be approved, you'd hardly make any money with less than 1000 subs anyway.
It's the same thing really, the only difference is that the button is red for now.

Keep working hard and smart, grow your subs, offer value and the ad acceptance will come along with money :)

But you missed the point my friend. Even if you were a partner with 200 subs, how much money would you make?
Maybe $0.5 - $1 per month unfortunately, just from ad clicks.

It doesn't really make a difference, you'd make more by promoting something in the video (a product or service, your own or someone else's).

yes i knwo that, with that is impossibile make money, but you can with views, if a video be viral you can get views ;) and depends on the niche and soo much factors... btw im simple interested now on my question, i think we can talk about that in another thread i guess :D

Youtube now manually review your channel so i think it will be really hard to get your channel approved for monetization!

accepted as YPT but not as monetization damn those requirements so freaking high

you should know that subs have nothing to do with ad revenue -.-
i had a channel with 350 subs and almost every video was 10k+ views and 5 videos were 100k+ views

hey my friend i read on youtube twitter official account on a comment by their the process to accept the channel are more delayed and they finish (i hope it) untill the end of the apri (i say this on a fb youtube group i join) soo they continue to delay all the review process... i hope soon or later finsih this because if they continue to delay never they finish to review all channels... :(

Requests are currently backlogged. As you can imagine, YouTube ended up receiving 1000's of partnership requests in a really short period of time after they made the announcement that channels would have to apply to become YouTube partners. YouTube underestimated how many channels actually met the requirements- they're really out of touch with their platform.

My channel reached 5000+ watch hours and 2000+ Subscribers but still my application for review.

I don't know but youtube really F*****ed it Up with these new rules, Youtube used to be good, for now I'm using it only for CPA or Other things, Youtube Partnership has gone forever !
