Looking for someone to help out a little. Completely new to the facebook scene.

I have read a lot on here but can't seem to find the guides on how to go about doing everything when it comes to the converting part (ie, clicks to my actual page, iframes, cpa offers).

If anyone could just direct me to a good guide or if someone wants to help me out themselves, it won't go to waste. Promise that.

If not, I understand no one wants to give up perfectly good methods.

Not quite looking for a method, just some guidance. Thanks to anyone who can help!

It would be great if someone could write a quick guide on how to monetize fanpages as this seems to be stomping a lot of people.

Fair enough if you don't want to let us know how to code them or to generate traffic as this could end up saturating the method, but with monetizing I don't think people will be stepping on your toes.

I think people would pay something for a guide like that.

You can pretty much get the idea just by reading through all the threads

Thanks, but that doesn't really show how to monetize already created fanpages

post cpa offers, each fan will recieve it as an update, or send them to your blog/landing page and try to sell them a product, depends what niche your fanpage is in really. If you read the threads there theres 101 ways to monetize your pages!

I was actually looking more for the guides on how to do the "free 'xxxxxxx'" pages. The user comes to the page, adds all their friends, it sends them to another page where they must fill out a cpa offer (iframed) before being able to submit the info for the free item.

Those pages no longer work. Facebook has disabled a lot of the functions of those, such as the 'invite all friends'

You're a few weeks late my friend.

There are lots of hints around, but the simple way is to build up a viral fanpage and push them to your blog or send offers into the stream.

I think that ebook you linked to explains how some guy gets sales driving fanpage traffic to his blog.

Thanks... unfortunately that book ... nor any other guide i've seen... tells you how to come up with a fan page idea lol. guess thats where your creativity comes in. It just seems like EVERY fanpage you could possibly think of is already in existence.

What comes first? The website you're pushing? or the fan page?

Who cares if there is a fanpage or 10 or 100 or 1000 about the same thing..the more popular fanpages in a given niche usually means there is greater potential for you to make more money.

You could make a fanpage based on Belgian Waffle making in the 1960s I guess but good luck trying to make more than a few nickels off it.

Don't try and reinvent the wheel..it is very easy to see what is popular and what other people are making good money on just by some very basic analysis.

The trick is building up that fanpage that goes viral...Thats what i need guidance with...Been trying different things for a few weeks now to build up the fans...Only have several hundred...I even tried the CPM way, and all that did was take money out of my pocket and only added less then a 100 fans with 5 days of advertising.
Is it wise to pay someone "x" amount of dollars to add fans for you ???
Thats the only thing i havent tried yet...

I've heard it works pretty well, haven't done it myself though.

Hop onto a site to find some good outsourcers, supposedly it can be as cheap as $100 for 100k fans to a page.

    ----

Regarding which types of pages to make, as anonhero said, don't re-invent the wheel. If something's working for someone else, then do it yourself. There's a pretty good chance you can find 100k or 1 million people who haven't seen the first page in Facebook's huge userbase.

I copied at least 20 others when I first started with FB stuff and made a good chunk of cash in a day being in a 'saturated' niche. Copy people for a bit to start, then you'll see what works best and use those small pages to leverage a new page. (ie. if you have 5 pages with only a couple k fans, use that page to launch your new page)

Also - follow current events. I learnt this during the Olympics, I saw SO many pages spring up around events (ie. Norwegian men's curling pants - last I checked it had 500k+ fans). There were other ones around the gold medal usa vs. canada hockey game - plenty of these, with at least 50k fans a piece then a couple gigantic ones with 1-2million.
