    Hey all,

Here's what I'm trying to do:

I want to offer a free DVD (just pay shipping) to my prospects, and include a 14-day free trial to my membership site.

I already have the free trial to the site set up, but need to know how to offer the free + S&H DVD offer on the same page, so it would look like this:

    Product: DVD
    Cost: $0
    S&H: $7.95
    Total: $7.95

Plus 14 day free trial to membership site, then $17/mo.

I have Website Payments Standard and Express Checkout.

Is this possible to do with PayPal?

    Thanks MUCHO!

    TIA - RD

Yes this is possible with PayPal as a subscription. Just do the first day charge at $7.95, then monthly charge at $17 and it starts in 14 days.

You may want to consider using a service like "Limelight, Ultracart, or similar" that is specifically created for the RFT model. Its important that you use the right tool for the job cause it can mean HUGE increases in your ROI, stick rates and more.

Great model by the way, should do you well, just be sure to disclose to the end users that you are going to be billing them for stuff later. Video works best to do this without setting off alarm bells :)

Thanks Guys - having somebody look into getting this whole thing set up for me right now - this is gonna rule! This the only site I have with this model, and it looks really promising. Will probably be switching all my sites to a variation of this model once the bugs are worked out. Thanks again! - RD

i can help you out if you were considering Drupal, there's a couple of paid plugins that would do this superbly :0)
