Hey guys, I'm recently working with thesis theme, and I noticed that it uses h1 for taglines instead of site title. How do I tweak it to h1 site title?

Another question, I've seen following kind of designs several times, they are pretty good, clear and simple. Anybody knows how to design such kind of header image or where does these designs come from?

    Hey man,

It's been a while since i've used Thesis, but in the site options, under "Title Tag Settings", do you have the "Append site name to page titles" checked?

I think this might be what you want?

As for the images, I use paint.net which is free. I have no real skill in design, and little time to learn, so paint.net is my preferred choice. It's really easy, there's a lot of add-ons you can download, and a few cool tutorials on Youtube. You could create something like the above images quite easily.

Well, to be honest, I start to check my thesis blog after reading one hater's article:
    Code:
    http://seobullshit.com/diythemes-uses-bullshit-seo-to-sell-thesis/
He made some points in his way, I guess. The reason I decide to stick with thesis is because it's easy to customize, also neat and simple. I'm really not into those fancy designs.

Thesis only h1 taglines in homepage which I don't like, I want my site title to be included as well. After digging through their tutorials, here's what I found:
    Code:
    http://diythemes.com/thesis/rtfm/replace-default-header-logo-tagline/#same_line
But the tagline messed up after those codes added into custom_functions.php, so instead of h1 both, I only go for site title and it works fine now.

I'm not good at coding, so if anyone knows how to h1 both site title and taglines without messing out the layout, please let me know.

    Thanks

H1 works fine as I expected in single post page, I'm actually looking for ways to tweak homepage h1 setting.
