    Hey guys,
Looking for a new way to monetize my sites.

The 4 main ways I know of are Adsense,Amazon,Clickbank,CPA.

Every single one has their pros and cons.

Adsense - Earning per click is way too low

Amazon - Low commission range. Product needs to be decently priced to make a significant amount of money

    Clickbank - High Refund Rate.

CPA - Offers get pulled out.

So I was thinking of maybe selling my own digital product as a way to monetize my site.
This way I can price the product according to my will and won't have to part with my earnings with someone else

Anybody doing/tried doing this? I'm curious to find out what your experience was like.

I'm guessing I'll have to build a mailing list in order to push the product.

I'm selling my own digital products in the adult niche and I'm now working on SEO ebooks. The biggest issue for me is with payment providers since they usually don't like adult products. If you are happy with only offering Paypal then it's a breeze to set up a Wordpress/Woocommerce store and integrate it right away.

Since you're selling your own products you're not bound to any affiliate program T&C's. Email, (paid) Social Media, SEO, PPC and all other channels are free game, so it's much easier to get traffic from more than one channel which makes you less dependent on Google.

If you can produce a decent product then it's definitely worth a try.

I'm doing this for a small niche market, it's difficult to do. I'm ranked on first page for all my products, but it doesn't convert really well. But yeah when you get a sale, it's 100% profit!
