I dropped some spots on all of my websites and all of my keywords today. Some which haven't moved up or down in a month. I want to hope I'm just dancing, but Its hard to believe when every single site is moving down. Anyone else experience something similar?

I also have all unique content.

This has happened so many times to me and I've learned to just keep on building links.....most of the time they come back.... I find that consistent link building keeps my rankings there most of the time (not always related to the *volume* of links).

Do you think having all my sites on the same google analytics is a bad idea? Could that possibly be part of the cause of this.

If I take them off now, would google sitll know that they are connected

I have had horrific experiences with google analytics. If you really want to push it, take them off GA, move each domain to a new IP, get private whois. That is the only surefire way.

None of my sites have google analytics... I am betting that you are dancing and I would suggest losing GA also.

The less they know about me personally, the better off we all are in my opinion.

I could be 110% wrong but I have no issues ranking with Google and the analytics part is a little "Big Brother Creepy" to me.

Perhaps I should consider losing the tin foil hat I tend to wear too.

I actually had the same problem. an established PR5 site, many many links from authority sites built from years, thousands indexed pages, recently, the ranking keeps dropping. Today, suddenly, dropped to #7 from #3. Who goes to the top 6? several new sites. weird. something is going on in google.

I just hate it when that happens, mostly because I rely on Google for traffic.
