I seem to come across a problem. I was just using my CPA link in emails (linked to a word so they dont SEEE the link) and was getting credited for this (not the end of the month, not sure if I will get the money yet) So i remembered that they can still see when it comes from 'gmail' or whatever, so I should fix that, so i used bit.ly url shortener. As soon as I did this I am noticing no clicks or conversions, even though I know they are signing up (thats what blackhat CPA in emails is all about lol).

Anyone else have troubles with url shortening sites? Should I just go back to the old way, or what other way should i just blank the referrer.

yeah, I have experienced a similar problem. I have been using dot.tk to shorten my urls and it was saying my URL is no valid 100's of times but sometimes it works. It's really confusing.

It is probably the shortening sites choking on the extra information included in the CPA link, which is how the CPA companies redirect to the offers and credit the click/submit to the affiliate (you).

Bit.ly is not safe if you are trying to use it to hide your referrer.

    Use hxxp://www.referer.us/ instead.

I'd thank him, but he's banned lol. I cant get referer to work. I use the spoof/fake referer, but since the page i use is php, it doesnt redirect. it just shows www.mydomain.com#affiliatelink.com

nevermind! I couldnt figure out where/which code to use. Got it now, but it shows your fake site too long, kind of obvious.

I saw that happening with a few url shorteners so in the end created my own one along with a referrer blanking forwarder - lets me check how many links are being clicked and how many I am actually getting paid for!!

Not suprisingly there are some differences in the numbers I have and the networks have....

Bro, do a search for CPA Redirector. Try putting your offers thru that, show traffic from your legit site where you have the ads running on that. Makes life a lot easier..
