I use Followliker and TweetDemon, and recent updates are getting refused by my installation of Microsoft Security Essentials (it's an anti-virus/basic security package from Microsoft).

It's saying they contain "severe" risk trojans. At first I just thought maybe there were some false positives, but I've updated definitions every day for a week, and these installs are still getting refused.

Anybody else use MSE? Would really appreciate your wisdom. Assuming these are false positives. But MSE has served me well in the past and am hesitant to blow past the warnings.

Below is screenshot. Top entry is FL, bottom ones are from TD.

I used to get that with my antivirus software. It's a false positive and you should add it to the exceptions list. Never used TD before but I know FL is clean.

Or maybe you should get a Mac ;)
LOL. I have a Mac I love. Unfortunately most of the tools of this trade require Windows. Some of us do use a Mac with virtualization for Windows on top. But then all the same problems exist in that layer.
