Hi,

I am really looking to automate things to make life way easier. I am in no support of dragging RSS feeds or using so-called unique content drawn out of rewriter plugins.

I get my content written by writers, but what really pisses my ass of, is when I have to actually post them or even schedule them into wordpress.

Does anyone over here have knowledge of any such plugin where I can just copy paste the articles and the plugin automatically keeps posting them at a specified schedule ? I can even pay if someone here has the ability and skills to code such a plugin for me .....

Suggestions expected. :)

Off the top of my head, I don't know of a plug-in that will do what you want. But I would recommend creating your own macro with autoscriptwriter. It will help you automate some things quickly. You can download it at:
Code:

It is a very simple tool and easy to use. Give it a try and it just may save you some time.

Hi proroy,

Check out ZipPoster:

Code:
http://www.adps2.com/ZipPoster/

You provide the content to it and it will slowly publish the content over the time you specify.

Give it content for days, weeks, months and it will slowly build your site for you (with the content you give it).

Do a search here at BHW for the download.

Hope that helps.

Best.

Try http://projects.radgeek.com/feedwordpress/

Does the job superb. Can put posts into multiple categories, can change the author, put them into pending, all sorts of options - I definitely recommend it!

Similarly, with the above plugin, you can also syndate numerous RSS feeds, so you haqve great (albeit duplicated) content coming in. If you simply re-write the articles, which wouldn't take long, you've got some really good fresh blog content there. I recommend you definitely change the title of the post above anything else.

I'm using Dripfeeder for this purpose, but I might look into other solutions as I've had a lot of problems getting it to work on my computer.. currently I'm running it on my girlfriend's laptop as it installed just fine on there with no OCX dependency errors.

Thanks for the other links!

Well the easiest way in my opinion is to perhaps give some offline blogging applications a try. There are quite a few available.

If you are using wordpress version 2.6+ you will need to just go to Settings => Writing and activate the XML-RPC protocol.

and get one of the apps from the following list:
Code:
hxxp://codex.wordpress.org/Weblog_Client

Most have an option to set a future date. So I guess that should solve your problem. Let me know if it helps!!

Cheers!!
