Hi all!
I am noticing that more and more people, newbies mostly, (even some who have been on here for awhile, who should know better,) are asking for thanks whenever they download something (usually just a link to a thank-you page, not even ripped to RapidShare or MediaFire). Also, you see a lot of this when someone presents some kind of idea that was obviously ripped from someone else's post or another forum.
I don't mind giving thanks (in fact, I do it whenever its even minimally merited) but I really REALLY hate being begged for thanks. Its like the waiter standing at the table until you pay your bill and tip. I may tip, but when you make it a forced exchange, either I'll drop the percentage or not tip at all.
Is there some way to slap these gits and let them know that "when you gotta ask for it, you probably don't deserve it?" Right now, I simply don't hit the thanks button, but that really doesn't send the message.
Any ideas???
Gracias!
