    Hey,

I am trying to make an automated autoblog software that wil go out and load the blog with content.

I'm wondering how I can make it so the content won't get de-ranked or de-indexed?

Any way to make an autoblog work in 2012?

    Thanks!

There's only one way to do this: you'll need some kind of unique content.

What I would suggest is scraping up posts that are at least 800+ words in length and running them through WordAI (the owner has a thread in the BST here) with the premium account. Play around with the settings until you can get a very high percentage of unique content.

That way, you are scraping content but turning it into something that Google's algorithms won't just send straight to the supplemental results as duplicate.

Yes, as the previous comment stated, make sure you spin the content so it is unique and readable. Especially after the updates, you don't want to get penalized by Google for duplicate content.

Yes it will work, but it will be on short term. After google see some good traffic coming to your blog after few months, he will take your site for manual review, and than boom, you are gone :)

    But yes autoblogs still works

Hmm what if I code something that will search Google France for example for 'comment jouer au basket-ball' (which is 'how to play basketball' in French), take the first link, translate the site to English, then use it? Wouldnt the content be unique since it was written in French and not English? I just tried this and the content was readable.

Someone others on the forums has used a similar concept.

    For your reference
Search for a post titled g0ogle translate content and
    translated articles considered duplicate content

I also started couple of auto blogs 2 weeks ago and so far the results are good. Posts are being indexed within hour and also get some traffic.

I created a master article which has 10 articles re-written 5 times at sentence level giving me almost 90% uniqueness on the very least it will give me unique articles for next 5 years. To add on top I have set up a image database and video database. Each post comes with a image and video. To add further variation I have added standout boxes to add, quote of the day, tips, products.

I spent almost 2 weeks coding this stuff. Finally I rolled it out on 2 old domains that I recently purchased from google. One is posting every hour and the other os posting every 2 days. I will be increasing the frequency on the one that posts every 2 days to post every 3 hours.

I am sure it is going to work for sure.

I do exactly what swtor005 does but I do it to feed the web2.0 blogs I create for backlinks. They work like a charm. They not only get indexed fast but give great SERP boost to my money site.

This is probably the wiser approach if you are looking for longer term strategy

Do you spin it by hand or use software?

Blatantly violating Google's rules about content generation, while still depending on Google for traffic and income, is a shaky business model. Either their algo, or their manual review will likely find you out. If you go the autoblog route, it's safer to just avoid using SEO or ranking methods in order to get good traffic, and use monetization other than Adsense. Use YouTube, Yahoo Answers, social media, offline advertising, etc will get the site the traffic it needs without involving the general search engines.

I won't be using Google as my main traffic source. I'll be mostly relying on quick bursts of traffic from Google as I'll be using trends and social media.

If I use duplicate content can/will AdSense ban me?

Adsense specifically has cited autoblogs as one criteria for banning an account, although it can be inconsistent in carrying it out.

Absolutely, I am not planning to put adsense on any of these sites. There are tonnes of monetizing options.
