This is my first attempt at a squeeze page and I'm just not really sure what a good one requires. Any pointers would be great.

This is more of a personal thing, Im not sure whether or not it will in fact make ur page more productive, but both or your testiminials are for the 2 most common low income jobs (gas station worker and supermarket/major retail store worker): to me this just screams fake but like I said its more of a personal thing.
If I were to look at it from a different perspective, it makes sense that you provide testimonials from a wide spread demographic, so it may be worth putting more testiminials in to cover people from different backgrounds (ethnicity, income levels, ages, etc).
Lets see what others have to say

Make sure the sidebar is aling.

Move the banner text up a few pixels.

    Reformat the content.

I prefer e-mail submit on the right. The text formatting is quite bad, I don't wanna even begin reading. You need to do the typical bold and different font colour (red) to catch the eye. The header(logo) is not aligned properly (in firefox). It rests on the line, also you should make it look something half decent.

Basically take any decent product from clickbank and have a look at their sales page. Pretend your half interested in what they're selling and take not at the things that appeal to you on the page.

    Best of luck

P.S. The e-mail submit itself looks really basic, there are some flashy submits with arrows pointing to the box.....this catches the eye better. Also change the text for the submit, chance of a lifetime is very vague and doesn't make me wanna give you my e-mail. Try something like giving a free report or something for free....then after they click submit they are returned to your sales page ect.

I would never submit my information to that kind of site.

Lose the testimonials. You don't need them on a landing page if your headline and body text is intriguing enough.

Move your opt-in form to the right side... the right side has been proven to attract the eyes more so than the left.

Space your body text so that it's easy to read. In other words, have space inbetween each paragraph. Make your paragraphs short... it's a lot easier to read that way. BOLD words that you think are important to the reader.

Use the font Calibri for your body text.

Come up with a headline that grabs the readers interest. Using "earn money from home" is so up in the air these days. Maybe something like "It's A Shame That So Many People Are Making Great Money From The Comfort Of Their Home, While You Are Slaving Away For The Man Every Day Of Your Life!"

Get personal with your reader! Make them become emotional while reading your site.

Get rid of the money at the top... that just screams spam/fake/blah

Why is this offer a "limited time" offer?? Elaborate, elaborate, elaborate!

Also, make sure your "submit" button is a different color from the rest of the page. And change submit to something like "Click Here To Continue" or "Yes! I Want More Information!"

If people don't know who or what they are submitting their information to, they will NEVER submit it. Use arrows or blinking .gifs to make your opt-in stand out. MAKE IT UGLY!

Add "privacy policy" and "contact us" links to your header and footer.

If your landing page isn't converting at 50% or better, you need to change things around until it does. Split test until you puke.

For me, the text is a little boring, I'd switch it up and draw attention to your keywords with either larger or brighter text. Also don't like the two optins.
I like how the optin (top one) is set off by itself, gives a clear call to action.
Like the comment above I think this page would look/respond well to maybe a video squeeze.

Also I wasn't sure what I was getting for opting in.

If you like I can PM you an example of one that works well for me.

    Good job!
