I am considering 2 or 3 niches. I am thinking or getting a generic niche name and using wpmu to break the site down into smaller niches. In the main blog would be 1 or 2 generic posts pertaining to the niche and the rest of the site would be fed by the micro blogs. The other option I am considering would be a single wp install with pages for the micro sites.

All would be seo'd the specific micro niche and would be using adsense , relevant cab products and considering using amazon.

Traffic ideas: tumblr, stumbleupon, and maybe a free blog per micro niche and a few other ideas.

Any advice or tips. Am I on the right track or way off?

    Thanks

Seems like a solid set up. I would suggest a single wp install, simply because it's easier to market a unified resource. Plus your content from other niches might get more exposure.

As for traffic sources, I would highly recommend adding linkedin and facebook. Have you thought about participating in a niche related forum, where you could potentially share relevant links?

How about building your exposure and/or SEO stats by guest blogging?

I will have a look at fb and LinkedIn. I will consider guest blogging after site grows a lil bit. Forums are a definite. I will be on a cpl (after researching them) just to try to stay current on niche anyway.

Thanks for the answers keep em coming
