I started a new YT channel, the niche is "toys" "unboxing toys" etc.
For example look at this channel:
    https://www.youtube.com/user/DisneyCollectorBR

    8,800,086 subscribers
    12,419,663,574 views
    Joined Apr 13, 2011

That type of youtube channel that every kids under 5-6 yr is watching all day long :) It varies from opening kinder surprise eggs, to play with play doh or build a lego / play with interesting dolls.
Videos are standard, music on background, and just the hands are visible in from of camera.

    What i have done:
-YT channel has only 1 subscriber :)

-my videos dont make any new views (posted them a week ago)

-i tried to spam a little to facebook groups (for example posting a video from my channel with "Lego City - unboxing and build" and ask people in 20 LEGO groups (buy and sell lego, lego photography etc) "Hey i made this video... Do you think the speed of 4x is ok? do you have any hint?"
I had some comments and views (110 views), but the problem is that those visitors were adults, 0 subscribed, and they watched just few seconds i guess.

-bought professional studio lights, DSLR camera, printed 4 custom background, bought new toys (i already have a room full of toys from my son that is 4 yrs old)

-started making high quality videos. i made aprox. 50 videos, i uploaded just 6 videos, and i plan to upload 4-5 videos per day every day starting from now.

    What i wonder is:

    1. If i will keep making good quality videos and just upload them to youtube every day (with a little seo on title and description) the channel will grow by itself ?(also i wonder if will grow by itself how long will take to make at least some cash considering that i will upload 4-5 videos per day, every day) or i must make some kind of promotion ? (i tried sending many mails to some youtube channels in my niche, nobody wants to do paid promotions and stuff)

Buying views from Google seems very expensive, i read that it costs between 0.10$ and 0.30$ per view :O

    2. I thought about a week every day how to promote this type of videos. My target is kids under 6. Parents give them smartphone/ tablet/ laptop and let them watch youtube videos. Nobody allow his kid to stay on his personal facebook account / reddit/ twitter. (is obvious because kids will f**k parents account, clicking everywhere and send smiles to anyone :p )
This means spam/promote to facebook groups/ instagram/ twitter etc is not a really good ideea. So, my second question would be is anyone knows any type of promotion for this niche using social media or something simmilar?

Does anyone have any advice ? I would be very grateful is somebody will give me a little advice or hint.

kids under 5-6 don't have a youtube account, just try to change to unboxing all not only toys. It's only my opinion.

they dont have youtube accounts, but 99% of kids under 5-6 have tablet/smartphone/laptop from their parents to watch youtube videos for kids. I tell you from my experience with my son and from what i saw on every friend's kid. (also they click on ads and stuff)
And they seem to like everything :) they are not adults. Theirs tastes are not developed. Also what is good in this niche is that you put a "retarded song" for kids in background and you play/unbox toys. You don't need to speak english. (especially when english is not your native language)

I have experience too with my brothers. just don't expect a lot of subscribers. kids are watching a lot and they're moving from video to video, try some affiliate program to sell these toys but tell them in the video " if you wanna buy it the link in the description " or something like that. it's just idea think more and good luck :D

I must say, this niche is quite interesting. Never thought of promoting something to under 6yo kids.

    Did you do keywords research?

I planned to make money from Google, i mean from ads in my yt videos. also for example if you put a branded unique hashtag on every video from your channel, the kid will see many of your other videos, on "related/suggested videos" from the right section on youtube, generating even more views on other of your videos. also i think they will not click/buy toys because they are 6 :D But they click everywhere, means also on ADS. Even if i think the CPC will be lower on this niche, the number of views is huge on many many yt channels on this niche

I dont know so much SEO, in the past i used something like ibusinesspromoter to optimise my websites and had good results. but with yt i only have just title and description and hashtags. Now i just do some research after i create a video, example " Unboxing Cindy Doll" and i try to find some long tail keywords with low competition and make the tile and description according to that keywords

YouTube ads are your best bet considering it's the only thing that can get through to them. They have no social media, nothing. So tbh the best thing to do is make the ads.

yes i will try in the next days, but if what i read last days is true is expensive as f*ck 0.10$ - 0.30$ per view. this means 100$ for 1k views :p
I also heard that there are some tricks on youtube to gain some traction, for example comment a lot on other big videos in your niche using your account. because your channel link will gain some authority. I mean will have some backlinks

My 16 month old baby boy watched an unboxing of a toy and he absolutely loved it. The video has like 9 million views, and I was baffled. I need to get into this niche.

If you're dead set on toys only, I think you should adjust your approach a bit. Yes, kids will likely stumble upon your video and watch it but your real market is the adults who are BUYING the toys. You can keep the channel kid themed and fun as parents won't mind that, but they are more likely to be interested in an unboxing to see if they should really buy it. I don't see a reason to exclude either side of the audience in your case.

Buying views is a weird world. The absolute legit way will be costly, and cheaper methods are always questionable. You seem to be putting quite a bit of actual effort into production so I wouldn't risk it with cheap promotion.

Uploading 4 to 5 videos daily is pretty extreme man. Why not spread it out by uploading one a day, and maintain a very consistent schedule (YouTube loves this). You can have a ton of videos queued up and ready to roll in case any life event happens such as getting sick, vacation, etc.. You can even theme your days "Monday Craft Toys", "Toddler Tuesday", or whatever. Subscribers are going to get tired of you quickly if you are continually blasting them with new videos. Give them what they want, and a reason to stick around for more. YouTube is a long term game so no matter what it will take time to take off.

From my personnal experience, kids love unboxing toys videos, i said that because i have my 2 nieces they like watching playbdoh unboxing videos.
What i can suggest, is go look for the most trending animes ( pepa pig, dora, ...) and also find the games that are downloaded on app store and playstore to have an idea about the trending games and animes and then make a video of unboxing it, or taka a video existed on YT and make your own keywords also, for facebook Ads, preferably target moms and pages with babies animes ( 1-3 years toys and animes ).
For me its a very good niche, from my own experience if u have good inboxing videos you'll have a lot of moms lile subscribers.
Be the channel that make babies/kids stop crying this is your service, look at it this way and good luck bro !

Maybe you could try to reach out some parenting/kids related influencers to shoutout your YT channel. :)

Post on specific subreddits catering to your niche and sub-niches. Then advertise on other platforms. Engage on other channels' videos (DONT SPAM). Once you have 100 subs, engage with them fully and keep it going. Post daily and market consistently
