Has anyone had success converting paid traffic to a content locked site? If so, where are you buying your traffic from and do you have any tips for success? I've tried various sites, and the clicks never seem to convert.

Paid traffic is usually either through forced pop-ups or traffic exchange programs. Traffic wont stay longer than 2 seconds, forget the conversion.

Paid traffic is not good for anything except eye pleasing analytic s, and may be alexa

saying this after my experiment ( Ongoing ) with paid traffic

Pop-under traffic --- Useless-- Not because it didn't convert, but it didn't even stayed for 3-4 seconds, not even sure if it was real traffic.

Expired Domain Traffic --- Useless -- Not because it didn't convert, but same as above, doesn't even clicked on anything on my site, this traffic doesn't support javascript/ occasional popup, all this makes me feel that this are not real human visitors from the behavior

Currently Lined up -- Reddit Traffic, lets see how it goes

Also lined up -- Social media traffic-- Will Create a New thread with my Experiment

paid traffic is just for inflating the stats, expect no conversion and an amazing bounce rate.
I would suggest using it only if you are looking to flip a site on Flippa.
