I am just curious as to how hard it might be to get accepted through CJ..... Do you need a website related to the niche or what? Is it automatic approval? Any tips are appreciated.

I ask because my CJ account was closed a while back for being inactive and don't want to start another just to apply to a program that may not accept me.

Thanks........... Jdog

It's the same shit as usual. Most offers on there are still not auto-approved and i find that i get denied more often than not.

I'm pretty sure it's from not having a related website in most cases; which i find to be a stupid, ignorant reason to deny someone. Some of the advertisers don't even log in to accept / deny applications.

i am doing good in cj , and while your account is deactivate you can request them to active..they will do it

Was about what I figured... I got auto approved on a few things but the ones that reviewed my application denied me. My thinking is that I want to be approved before I take the trouble to build a site.

I plan to get it reactivated but want to make sure I can get a few things going consistently this time. Otherwise they will just whittle my earnings down to 0 and deactivate me again.

if you have some earning in your account then they will not deactivate..they will 1st send your money and then and then only deactivate the account.

That's exactly my train of thought, and same goes with CPA offers and anything else. I want to be approved for it before i waste time building a landing page, ads, etc..

Have you ever built a landing page first and found yourself unable to get approved?

For any given product/offer/merchant there will always be competitors willing to work with you if your landing page is good.

I have had the same thing with Commision junction. I have since then moved away from CJ. You cant start building a landing page to drive traffic to if you dont know what you are promoting imo.
I have found smaller CPA networks to be more welcoming also health/beauty product networks have better succes rate for me. Not that I have any affiliaten with them but soemthing like CJ is linkshare rakutten google it! They have been far better to work with for me.
