Been Googling a ton of different providers and even accidentally paid for one only to find out that they only do SMS verification. Are there any out there that can do phone verification? Like.. they are going to call and I have to hear the code they give over the call.

Wow thanks a lot for that! Jeez... And I've been trying to find all these paid services and they don't even get the job done.. but then I can get a free service and it works fine.

I used to use textnow a long time ago when trying to register gmail accounts, but wouldn't work because I guess Google recognized the phone numbers. But I just tried it on Twitter and it worked fine.

    Thanks again.

Yes. It is for me anyways. The only issue is... They now only allow you to keep the phone number for 2 days, unless you login.

However, I was just asking on another thread if... maybe I REMOVE the phone number on the account after verifying, and if I later get blocked/suspended, then I can just add a new phone number.

Because... it seems like when you get blocked/suspended, they force you to use the old phone number. But wouldn't think they can do that if the phone number isn't on the account anymore.

And you're using it for Twitter? If so, and it's still not working, start trying some different area codes maybe. Maybe area codes for locations that are not so popular.

Hi there. I've been using Skype service to get US landline number for approx 45$ per year. Google it. That's another way to go.
What you get is a legit landline number in any state and all the calls are redirected to your skype with no additional cost to you or the caller. As i do a lot of VA and development for the US based clients this one was a true jackpot for me. Hope it helps someone.

Is that just for one phone number? Or how many phone numbers do you get for that $45?

Seems a little expensive :( But I suppose it could come in handy if you need to keep a number for longer term use.

    I will PM you.
