What if I use self-hosted emails for creating Web 2.0 accounts for my Tier 1?

I have a domain I was going to let expire but now I think I could use it to create emails for signing up for WordPress.com, Blogger etc. The reason I want to do this is because it's quicker, easier and I don't get banned and there is no phone verification.

Is there any potential problems with this?

    Thanks

I don't see any problems with it at all.

    Go ahead.

That is the best way to go about it so you do not have to worry about verification and all of that garbage. Go for it!
