I'm a 23 year old heterosexual male from Australia. I am probably Pinterest's least likely customer, but they have traffic and I want it. So naturally I started making some accounts and doing some general spam but it's gotten kinda weird. As I scroll through the pins now I catch myself thinking Oh, that's a cute dress" and shit like that. I actually like this shit.... do any other males working with Pinterest find themselves enjoying all that shit women like? Or am I the only one?

Just like if you live in the south (of the us) for a while you will develop an accent, it's human nature to conform to the social norms you see/hear the most, you must be spending a lot of time on pinterest...lol

There's nothing at all wrong with that. You're probably a very creative person who also has an eye for beauty. Fashion is an art form. My male cousin makes breads in a bakery and the breads look beautiful. I think that is also an art form. There is nothing wrong with appreciating beauty. It comes in many forms. Then again, I'm a woman, and you asked for a man's opinion.

I used to work with this kid and he was from Zimbabwe and his family was very wealthy. He has a posh accent and we game him shit in a fun way (he gave us all plenty back) and he ones said "I'm not gay, I'm creative". I though it was an awesome response and your post reminded me of it.

I love the response! He's embracing his creativity and that is awesome. My friend's son is in a job he hates because he refuses to do what he really wants to do. He wants to be a hair stylist, but his friends teased him constantly about it. He is straight, has a fiance, and a baby, and he is not hiding his sexuality. He knows that his mother doesn't care what he is, gay or straight. She would love him and support him no matter what. But fear is keeping him from doing what he really wants to do with his life. Stereotypes make people sometimes think that they are odd, when in fact what they feel is perfectly normal.

I will never rule out the possible, but I highly doubt it, I like women too much and am not at all interested in the male genitalia.

Some people have fears that I don't understand, but I have fears most other people don't understand. I hate horses. Allot of men have careers now that were traditionally dominated by females and vice versa.

Generally it is perfectly ok for a hetero male to say something like: "omg what a faaabulous autumn wedding table centerpiece!!!", but you must append the words "no" and "homo", in succession, to the end of your sentence.

Do you have to append the last part looking as though you've just come back to reality?

You don't have to, but that's certainly a normal reaction.

The excitement one gets from an elegant floral embroidered drop waist, or Moroccan-style arches with breezy cotton textiles that are to die for, is very hard to overcome. No homo.

something similar happens to me too. I use tumblr for promotion purposes, but when I see somthing interesting, I click on the photo - I had to check it out. I do not like this thing, because it takes time and I do less work.

    lol ass

pxoxrxn, it's ok man. If the dresses are on women, your brain is looking at what it sees to be good looking women. Same thing goes for shoes, it's been seen that men will find the same girl more attractive if she's wearing heels. Do the men want heels? For the majority, of course not.

If the dress is off of women, your brain might be doing what it does best, projecting and estimating and visualizing. You're thinking of how hot that girl you're thinking about would look in it. Same thing happens when looking at lingerie.

Either that or maybe you're discovering a new possible career.

Either that or you want dudes. Do you want dudes? It doesn't seem like you do. And it is perfectly OK to not want dudes. We won't discriminate if you don't want to kiss dudes, that's perfectly ok.

They say it happens to the males after a kid is born. Testosterone goes low, and we become less of a macho.

Happened to me after my wife gave a birth, but then it went back to normal, and now I no longer enjoy Pinterest. :)

When I doubt my sexual orientation, I just ride bareback on a powerful beast, just like Vladimir Putin.
