is it possible to use name.com name servers and loading my website?

What I mean is instead of using my ns1.my-own-dns.com, I use ns1.name.com DNS to be able to use some of its DNS features such as Cname, but where in Cpanel or WHM i need to use ns1.name.com name servers to point to my website and it works

Thanks and rep will be given to any body who help

    Thank you

funny enough i have just been doing this exact thing with a different registar

you should have a change name servers option as well as a manage dns settings so in order to use ns1.name.com you would need to set your name servers to theirs (there is usually a reset names servers or use our name servers option)

then you go to the manage dns settings part and add your cnames etc.

I take it you actually have hosting/domains with name.com?

i'll have a quick look see if i can find a support article on their site

    Hi,

You need to run your own name servers to make it possible. (BIND, etc.)

    See details here:
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_DNS_server_software

With your own name servers or host provider's name servers, you can customize the DNS zones to use your name servers based on what you are asking.

    Hope it helps.
