Recently I am going to send money to my new bank account in Cyprus, actually I had to do that, if it was on my own I wouldn't touch anything related to Cyprus after their government start stealing money from people deposits.

any way, whats the latest update about Cyprus Banks... how many % these guys might steal from my deposits? I am going to keep it below 100K Euro at any time.

I had one.Its ok but i would recommend now singapore or if you need to open a company in the EU to look at bulgaria as there is 0% tax on new opened foreign companies.

About the 25% i can only say that was not an idea of cyprus itself but dictated by the EU.It was not about money from cyprian bankholders but an attack on the russian oligarchs.Cyrpus is for russian oligarchs the money heaven like switzerland in the past for western countries. They got their arround 2-4 trillion USD deposited and the EU wanted to cut it.But since Cyprus Premier asked Russia for help and russia offered cyrpus to join their asain monetery system the EU instantly limited the cut on western bank holders.

I would be very leery of depositing any funds in Cyprus after what happened to the bank accounts there recently....

    Panama would be my choice.

Please be aware that countries which are under US/Nato control will sooner or later provide all info or anything the US cooperation will demand.Countries in BRIC's will never do it
